Rick is an associate attorney at Sanders Roberts LLP and practices in the area of employment law. Rick has experience in different employment litigation matters ranging from sexual harassment, single-plaintiff and class action wage and hour cases, and appellate work. Rick also provides employment counseling and preventive advice to employers on a full range of issues arising in the workplace, including developing company policies, personnel processes and legal updates and developments to ensure compliance with local, state and federal law.
Rick obtained both his B.A., magna cum laude, and J.D. from UCLA. While at UCLA Law, Rick was La Raza Law Students’ Association’s External Co-Chair, and the Chief Managing Editor of the Journal of Islamic & Near Eastern Law. In law school, Rick interned at the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission’s Enforcement Division, where he gained valuable insights as to the internal operations of federal government agencies. At the SEC, Rick assisted attorneys in gathering factual evidence and conducting various legal research and writing projects. Prior to joining Sanders Roberts, LLP, Rick worked at a boutique employment litigation firm assisting and defending small and large employers throughout California.
