Sanders Roberts successfully represented a member of the board of directors of a non-profit organization dedicated to training children and teenagers in south Los Angeles to become commercial pilots. The firm, led by Justin Sanders, Anand Singh and Christine Said, sued the former Executive Director of the non-profit and obtained a favorable judgment for the client after a multi-day trial. As a result of the judgment, control of the nonprofit and its assets were returned to the client and the youth pilot training program. Due to this victory, the non-profit, which had ceased operations, was able to reopen. Sanders Roberts also won $500,000 in damages for the defamation claim it brought on behalf of the client.
