In addition, the cases Mr. Dixon litigates run the spectrum from single-plaintiff/defendant cases
to multiple-party complex matters. He is experienced in managing matters from inception
through trial as well as navigating matters through the arbitration process. Mr. Dixon is a former
in-house counsel where he was tasked with, among other things, managing hundreds of toxic tort
cases concurrently. His corporate-counsel experience provides him with unique insights that are
critical for ensuring the alignment of litigation and corporate goals. As such, he prioritizes client
service and partnership, understands the importance of predictability in costs, and devises
creative litigation as well as risk mitigation strategies.
Mr. Dixon devotes a considerable amount of his practice defending clients in product liability
and personal injury actions involving a myriad of different injuries, such as catastrophic injuries
and wrongful death. He has defended the design, manufacture, performance, and warnings of a
diverse array of products made by some of the world’s largest manufacturers. He has also
extricated his clients from premises liability and product liability actions by way of dispositive
motions.
Mr. Dixon’s experience also includes defending clients in single-plaintiff, class actions,
multidistrict and/or coordinated litigation involving fraud-based claims, claims under the Song-
Beverly Consumer Warranty Act and the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, and claims under
California’s Consumer Legal Remedies Act and Unfair Competition Law.
Beyond his trial practice, Mr. Dixon was named “Top 100 Leaders in Law” by San Diego
Business Journal in 2023. He was also named “Top 40 Under 40” by SD Metro Magazine in
2019. He was also honored by the National Black Lawyers, as one of the country’s “Top 40
Under 40” in 2015.
