Alexandra Lototsky is an experienced litigator who has successfully represented a wide range of clients, from fortune 500 companies and small businesses to public entities and individuals. Ms. Lototsky’s practice spans a wide range of state and federal law, including business litigation, contracts, fraud and products liability, general liability and personal injury, employment, anti-discrimination protection, and consumer protection. Ms. Lototsky has successfully defended and promoted her clients’ interests in state and federal court, as well as in arbitration.

Ms. Lototsky is experienced in all aspects of litigation, including law and motion, discovery, individual and corporate representative witness depositions, settlement negotiation, mediation, and trial preparation. Ms. Lototsky’s strong research and writing skills have allowed her to obtain victories for clients via dispositive motions, allowing them to avoid the significant costs of a lengthy litigation process and/or trial. Similarly, Ms. Lototsky is experienced in protecting sensitive client information and documents through successfully filing and arguing discovery motions.

During her first few years at Sanders Roberts, Ms. Lototsky was a member of the firm’s consumer warranty practice group where she took a leading role in handling and strategizing all aspects of discovery for the firm’s large automanufacturing clients. This experience has allowed her to develop detailed knowledge of and valuable skills in utilizing the rules of civil procedure and the Discovery Act to develop case and client-specific strategies and solutions for balancing the needs of a successful outcome vs. managing costs of litigation. Ms. Lototsky is well-versed in the technology-forward approach to litigation that is desired by many clients and utilizes Sanders Roberts’ numerous e-Discovery and AI assisted research resources to efficiently and successfully handle complicated and document-heavy matters.

Ms. Lototsky received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Santa Barbara and her J.D. from USC Gould School of Law. In law school, she was a staff member and then Executive Submissions Editor on the Southern California Law Review. During law school, Ms. Lototsky was a law clerk at the Disability Rights Legal Center in 2014, where her work focused primarily on civil rights litigation, specifically enforcement of the Americans with Disabilities Act on behalf of indigent or low-income clients. In 2015, she was a law clerk at Los Angeles District Attorney’s office, where she was part of a team preparing the prosecution of a far-reaching medical fraud case.

Ms. Lototsky is fluent in Russian.
