Daisy Mateo is an associate attorney at Sanders Roberts LLP. She focuses her practice on Employment and Entertainment matters. She represents employers in a wide range of employment-related matters, including claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour violations.
Ms. Mateo regularly counsels employers on various employment policies and practices, including drafting of employee handbooks, agreements, and conducts workplace investigations. She has represented clients before administrative agencies, including the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement (DLSE) and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).

Ms. Mateo received her J.D. from UC Hastings College of the Law and graduated cum laude from Bryn Mawr College with a B.A. in Political Science and Spanish. While in law school, Ms. Mateo served as staff editor of the Hastings Communications and Entertainment Law Journal. She previously interned for the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office, Los Angeles County Counsel’s Office, and the EEOC.

Ms. Mateo is passionate about diversity & inclusion matters and takes pride in being a first-generation Latina attorney. She has spearheaded pipeline initiatives as the former Co-Chair of the Latina Lawyers Bar Association and as the former Diversity & Inclusion Specialist for Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP. She is licensed to practice in the State of California.
