Jason Ziven is a litigator and transactional attorney, where he handles employment, business and entertainment disputes from inception through resolution and advises creative talent on entertainment transactions. His clients range from Fortune 100 companies to high-profile entertainers.
After law school, he completed the Trial Advocacy Program at the Los Angeles City Attorney's
Office, trying multiple criminal cases to verdict as a prosecutor. At a prominent litigation firm,
he later represented plaintiffs in employment and business disputes and handled transactional
matters for a leading global retail chain.
Mr. Ziven was named Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in American for three straight year (2025–2027), and the Los Angeles Times B2B Business of Law Magazine recognized him as a
Legal Visionary in 2023.
Prior to practicing law, Mr. Ziven was an investment banker in the Summa Group at Oppenheimer & Co., a full-service investment bank, where the Summa division managed more than $1.5 billion for leading entertainers and entrepreneurs. Mr. Ziven also served as Director of Business Development at Mills Entertainment, a division of Creative Artists Agency (CAA),
where he negotiated licensing and touring agreements with major entertainment companies and
globally recognized talent, and structured sponsorships for national tours with brands.
Mr. Ziven serves as a member of the Los Angeles County District Attorney Office’s business and professions advisory board.
A third-generation attorney, Mr. Ziven is a graduate of Harvard-Westlake School, the University
of Pennsylvania, and University of Miami School. He completed the Jewish Federation Los Angeles's Rautenberg New Leaders Project, a highly selective yearlong program for emerging civic leaders, and serves on the Ambassador Circle of the Youth Renewal Fund. He is active in local, state, and national politics and has advised national political campaigns on strategic
initiatives.
