Maks Shapiro is an associate attorney at Sanders Roberts specializing in business litigation. He advises and represents his clients by appearing on their behalf in court, drafting motions, performing legal research, taking and defending depositions, and conducting negotiations. Mr. Shapiro began his legal career by representing Pro Se defendants at the Brooklyn Civil Legal Advice and Resource Office (“CLARO”). During his time at CLARO, Mr. Shapiro provided one on one consultations, drafted motions, and appeared in front of judges on behalf of his clients.

Mr. Shapiro also worked as a Capitol Hill intern in Washington, D.C. During Mr. Shapiro’s time in Washington, D.C., he worked on a variety of legal matters and received first-hand experience with the legal and legislative processes, which served as a strong foundation for his decision to pursue a career in law. Mr. Shapiro graduated from Brooklyn Law School in 2018. He is fluent in Russian.
