Congratulations to Sanders Roberts LLP attorney, Robert Pearman, whose article was published in the Fall 2022 issue of Thomson Reuters’ Practical Law The Journal. The article, titled “Mediation as Condition Precedent to Binding Dispute Resolution,” addresses how contract clauses requiring mediation as a condition precedent to binding dispute resolution, if not properly drafted, can lead to delay and increased expenses. Mr. Pearman helps attorneys understand the potential options available when a party fails to comply with the mediation condition precedent and the importance of properly drafting those clauses.
