Sanders Roberts, LLP recently achieved a significant litigation victory for one of its clients, a senior manager for a public entity who had been accused of engaging in inappropriate sexual conduct. SR first won an Anti-SLAPP Motion and thereafter the Plaintiff voluntarily dismissed additional claims. On the remaining claims, SR won a Motion for Summary Judgment where the Court found that the alleged harassment was not pervasive and that there was no causal connection between the alleged discrimination and any adverse employment action. The SR team was led by Partner Melvin Felton with significant contributions from Associates Cindy Kaoud and Renate Fessler and Paralegals Gloria Estrada and Marilyn Perez-Garcia.
