Sanders Roberts LLP was founded by Justin H. Sanders and Reginald Roberts, Jr. in 2008. Last year Lawrence C. Hinkle II joined the firm as its Managing Partner to spearhead the firm’s national expansion goals. Since its formation, the firm has grown from two attorneys to about forty attorneys post-merger. It currently has offices in Los Angeles and San Diego and now, with the merger, in Oakland, CA, as well as additional attorneys located in Georgia, New York, and Michigan.
Lafayette & Kumagai LLP was founded in 1993 by well-respected trial lawyer, Gary Lafayette.
Lafayette, called a “big gun” and “high profile” by the San Francisco Chronicle and the Recorder, has an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, has tried more than 35 jury trials to verdict, and has successfully argued significant cases before the California Court of Appeal, the Ninth Circuit, the Ninth Circuit en benc, and the United States Supreme Court.
