21 Jun Sanders Roberts LLP Wins Employment Law Trial Victory
Sanders Roberts attorneys recently achieved a significant trial victory for one of the firm’s clients, an educational institution. A unanimous jury found the educational institution not liable in San Diego Superior Court on June 9, 2022. In the case, Plaintiff alleged race and color discrimination in violation of the Fair Employment and Housing Act. Plaintiff, who worked as a tech supervisor was terminated due to multiple violations of the educational institution’s Workplace Violence Policy. The jury found for the educational institution after deliberating for less than two hours. The trial team was led by Felton T. Newell and Reginald Roberts of Sanders Roberts LLP with significant contributions from paralegal Marilyn Perez-Garcia.
