Mr. Hinkle has extensive experience representing clients in the entertainment, media, technology, finance, real estate, insurance, apparel and manufacturing industries including Fortune 500 companies, global corporations, mid-size and small businesses as well as individual clients. He has handled disputes involving breach of contract, intellectual property, business torts (fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, trade secrets, etc.), unfair competition, defamation, right of privacy, right of publicity, employment, shareholders, partnerships and joint ventures, among other areas. He has also represented clients in a wide variety of entertainment and commercial transactions.
In the entertainment industry, Mr. Hinkle is experienced in representing clients in the music, film, television, and other entertainment-related fields including studios, networks, media companies, production and distribution companies, record and publishing companies, entertainment guilds, actors, writers, directors, producers, recording artists, talent agents and agencies, business and personal managers and management companies, musicians, models, investors, and many other individuals and companies connected to the entertainment industry.
As a counselor to his clients, Mr. Hinkle advises, strategizes with, and negotiates on behalf of clients regarding business arrangements and objectives, and provides guidance in the structuring of their business relationships and needs.

Langston Bar Association, Chair of the National Bar Association’s Pipeline Diversity Initiative, Board Member of The Greater Los Angeles African-American Chamber of Commerce Education Fund and Foundation, Chair of Litigation for the American Bar Association’s Forum on the Entertainment and Sports Industries, Executive Committee Member of the State Bar of California’s Litigation Division and as a Board Trustee of the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
