Damoun Govargiz is an associate attorney at Sanders Roberts LLP’s downtown Los Angeles office, where his practice concentrates on business litigation, general liability, and employment defense. He advises and represents various clients, from individuals and small businesses to Fortune 500 companies. He is experienced in all areas of litigation, including appearing on behalf of clients in court, drafting motions, performing legal research, taking and defending depositions, and conducting negotiations.
Mr. Govargiz received his J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles and graduated magna cum laude from UCSB with a B.A in Political Science. While in law school, he served as a staff editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles International and Comparative Law Review. He also participated in the Loyola Law School Consumer Bankruptcy Clinic, where he counseled individuals in need on how to navigate the bankruptcy process properly. Mr. Govargiz served as the vice president of the Assyrian Student Association of Los Angeles, helping to expand the organization’s membership and funding significantly.
