John Akinwole is an associate attorney at Sanders Roberts LLP’s Los Angeles office, where his practice focuses on employment, business litigation, and general liability litigation. Additionally, John has had experience working on contract disputes, premises liability, personal injury, auto warranty disputes, and public entity liability. John brings valuable experience in all stages of litigation, including legal research, discovery preparation, trial readiness, and appellate advocacy.
John earned his J.D. from the University of California School of Law at San Francisco (formerly known as UC Hastings Law) in 2023 where he was the president of the school’s Black Law Student Association, a member of both the moot court and trial teams, and the editor in chief of the school’s Law Review Journal on Racial and Economic Justice. While in law school, John also served as a judicial extern for the presiding justice of California’s 6th District Court of Appeals, Justice Mary Greenwood.
John earned his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of California, Irvine, in 2019.
