Navdeep has a broad-based litigation practice with a strong emphasis in intellectual property (trademarks/brand management), commercial and financial services/institutions litigation; he also represents clients in labor & employment and health care litigation. His responsibilities include extensive motion practice in state and federal courts nationwide, including before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board; all phases of case-management and discovery, including taking and defending depositions, and managing all aspects of pre-trial preparation and practice.
In addition to his intellectual property litigation experience, Navdeep has represented several financial institutions in a wide variety of consumer-protection litigation involving state and federal statutes, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (“TCPA”), Fair Credit Reporting Act (“FCRA”), Truth in Lending Act (“TILA”) and various California consumer protection statutes, including the False Advertising Law, Consumer Legal Remedies Act (“CLRA”), the Unfair Competition Law (“UCL”) and other consumer-finance laws.
As a result of his experience handling cases from inception through all phases of their life cycle, Navdeep is able to identify pivotal issues early on and litigates not only with the strategic aim to win, but also keeps his clients’ larger business and practical goals in mind.
