Mr. Agbelemose, who often goes by “Olu,” is a business and entertainment lawyer whose practice combines commercial litigation, business transactions, and intellectual property matters, with a particular focus on the film, television, and digital media industries. He represents businesses, entrepreneurs, financial institutions, government entities, producers, and content creators in a broad range of complex legal matters.
Olu represents clients in commercial and entertainment litigation involving breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, business torts, intellectual property, unfair competition, shareholder and partnership disputes, employment-related matters, and other complex business disputes.
In addition to his litigation practice, Olu advises businesses, entrepreneurs, producers, and content creators on commercial and entertainment transactions. He drafts and negotiates commercial and media agreements, counsels clients on business formation, corporate governance, and intellectual property matters, and serves as outside general counsel to businesses and family offices, providing practical legal guidance on day-to-day operations and strategic objectives.
Before joining Sanders Roberts LLP, Olu served for two years as a judicial law clerk in the United States District Court for the Central District of California, where he worked for Judges Virginia A. Phillips and Mark C. Scarsi on a broad range of complex federal civil matters. During law school, he interned at the entertainment law firm Donaldson Callif Perez, served as a certified law student in the UC Irvine School of Law Startup & Small Business Clinic and, separately, the UC Irvine School of Law Intellectual Property, Arts & Technology Clinic, and externed with the Intellectual Property Counsel for the Los Angeles City Attorney.
