Anand has over 15 years of experience representing companies in civil litigation and government investigations. He has obtained complete victories in litigation on behalf of large banks, telecoms, insurance companies, commercial landowners, pharmaceutical companies, and other institutions. He also has won complete dismissal of cases brought under the False Claims Act and negotiated settlements with the Department of Justice and other agencies. Anand has substantial experience advising on employment-related matters, has defended multiple CEOs at deposition, and authored corporate whistleblower policies. Anand spent over a year working in-house at a large financial institution to provide advice on a global $16.5 billion settlement, which remains one of the largest in U.S. history. Before joining the firm, Anand clerked on the United States Senate Committee on the Judiciary and the District of Columbia Court of Appeal.
