Mr. Washington, who goes by “Chad”, focuses his practice on business litigation, general liability, and entertainment matters. He is a skilled litigator who provides legal advocacy for business owners and entertainers, along with complex commercial entities. He is experienced in all areas of litigation, including appearing on behalf of clients in court, drafting motions, arguing on behalf or in opposition of motions, performing legal research, taking and defending depositions, and conducting negotiations.
Chad handles commercial and business litigation matters for both private and public entities. He has experience handling product liability cases, along with disputes involving breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty issues, breach of the implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing, general negligence, general commercial liability and a wide range of other matters.
Chad graduated from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 2022. While in law school, he worked as a summer associate for the Alameda County Public Defenders Office, and participated in the 45th Annual Robert F. Wagner National Labor and Employment Moot Court Competition. Chad was also awarded Co-Best Brief Honors for the annual Advocate of the Year Internal Moot Court competition at USF School of Law, where he placed in the top 5. He earned his B.A. in political science with a minor in International Politics from Columbia University in 2016.
Between college and law school, Chad worked as a production assistant at the MSNBC Bureau in Washington, D.C. and as a litigation paralegal at the New York, New York office of Kasowitz, Benson and Torres.
